Interesting Software
Following is the list of interesting software. I think they are useful as
tools for develpers and administrators. Many of them are freeware. I
don't make links to some of them but you can search it from many
software libraries, e.g.
Virtual Software Library.
http://www.fourmilab.ch contains a
lot of public domain software.
Software Packages
- NCSA HTTPd, by NCSA, is a WWW server on many platforms.
- UUDWin, by Mark Spankus, is a very useful program (fo
MS-windows) to decode many encoding formats including MIME,
Base64, Binhex and uudecode/uuencode.
Source Codes
- GIFSAVE, by Sverre H. Huseby, is a C-functions to save
an image using GIF.
- ImageMagick, by John Cristy, is a software for converting
viewing, etc. of many graphics file formats (at least 20), e.g.
GIF, JPEG, PS, TIFF. This software also comes with source code.
